Eligible Carers in Scotland will receive an extra payment from 26 June. @scotgov is investing an extra £19.2m in a Coronavirus Carer’s Allowance Supplement, as part of emergency legislation. Carers do not need to do anything to get this and will receive a letter detailing this.

Monday 13 April is the qualifying date for Carer’s Allowance Supplement. If you are in receipt of Carer’s Allowance from @DWP you will automatically receive a payment of £230.10 in June.

Were you getting Carer’s Allowance from the DWP on the 14 October?

The next payment of Carer’s Allowance Supplement will be made to the majority of carers on 13 December 2019.

An extra payment of £226.20 from @ScotGov in recognition of the important role you do.
