Fully deserved for Warm Scots Welcome team who helped to change lives for people fleeing Russia’s illegal war in Ukraine. They worked day & night, sacrificed too much & collaborated across Scotland to build something from scratch that’s delivered beyond what thought possible🏴🇺🇦
Congratulations to everyone who has worked on the #WarmScotsWelcome for Ukraine 🇺🇦🏴. You are just the best people to work with and a fantastic and genuine example of the civil service at their best 👏👏
Very proud of my Programme along with Social Security Scotland to be winners of 2 awards and nominated for 4 awards at the Scottish Public Service Awards. Well done to all.
It’s #WorldRefugeeDay. Councils recognise the contribution Refugees make - as our neighbours, friends, classmates and colleagues. When the right support is available, and refugees are welcomed, they can thrive & find safety & community in their new homes. #AyeWelcomeRefugees
So very pleased to see this hard work with NewScots now launching to mark World Refugee Day. Well done to the whole team & New Scots Partnership - doing so much with so little and ensuring safety and sanctuary are honoured in Scotland @migrationscot@Emma_Roddick
Standing in solidarity with people seeking safety is more important than ever. There are lots of ways that you can show your support this World Refugee Day.
