For 30 years this picture has sat on my desk … my two sons Rory and Calum as @BurnleyOfficial mascots away at Brentford. On the left our captain John Pender. John was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease 3 yrs ago. He is 60 today. Happy birthday John. Keep fighting #utc
Brilliant to play a part with the Clarets92 royalty.Well done @BurnleyFPA for supporting John Pender, and to all the fans who turned out to show their love and support to the Pender family. Motor neurone is horrible. Wishing John, his wife and children much respect and ❤️
I’ve seen John Pender twice in the past 20 years I’m looking forward to seeing him again on Saturday night.Motor neurone disease is savage we’ll be joined by many of John’s 92 team mates for some nostalgia and equally serious talk as well. Come along folks, hope to see you there

As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, we have decided to postpone our fund/awareness raising walk up Pendle Hill until a later date. Once a date is set we shall circulate an update. In the meantime we wish everyone a happy and healthy 2022. Once again thank you for all the support!
