@APar_1986@RyanDeto Dawg you’re so rude for literally no reason. YOU are the one who took “we will keep fighting for equality and justice” - similar to the way people say “we will keep fighting for freedom” every July 4- as an attack on being white for some reason? I am white too. lol.
@APar_1986@RyanDeto I have a masters degree in history lmao. But okay. Kids should absolutely learn about slavery in school and there should be a holiday to celebrate the end of America’s National shame. Just like July 4, Veterans Day, Presidents’ Day, etc.
@APar_1986@RyanDeto “Let’s continue to work towards equality” is a false claim???? Ok - no Fourth of July bc there’s already freedom and 1776 was a long time ago and everyone is equal
@APar_1986@RyanDeto I really disagree. I think the end of slavery is definitely worth observing and not covering up, similar to the other holidays (veterans day, Memorial Day) that we mourn tragedies in this country- it’s part of our history.
@cander891 Driving around Troy hill any given day and counting 10 dudes walking around with cell phones clipped onto pants and white paint all over their clothes
Charli xcx or Chappell Roan or whoever are not “hardcore adjacent”, you’re just a grown man who is somehow still too insecure to admit that you like pop music
i’m glad more ppl are recognizing that being a lover and a leaver are two sides of the same coin. i’ve spent a lot of my life trying to make ppl understand that my capacity to leave is not only compatible with being a lover, but a requirement
@bruisedfruit_@Gibs0ns_Girl Yes!!!! You couldn’t go two seconds on tumblr without seeing the word “soft grunge” which was def not MySpace Party aesthetic.
@ApeSandBearWich I used that thing like that for at least 8 months. I think then they had some sort of limitation but it still worked for a while? Idk I saw like pretty much every single new movie that came out in 2016 just cuz I could.
Thinking about the time period I had a moviepass and would literally see a movie almost every day by myself. How was that a thing? How did that company not immediately go bankrupt?
