@tuneofhockey@JimBiringer Nailed - if you’re a non-competitive team you can only go after guys that already have a Cup and Euros who truly don’t care. And you still have to pay the premium… 10% for the tax and 10% for the weather/ city.
Just figured out a trade that sends Robo to La, gets back Fiala and picks, sends picks to Sea for #7, #7 to Tor for Knies and moves Harley for picks to send to Detroit for Larkin.
@SportsSturm Yep - the sign and trade is almost unheard of in hockey - it’s really the worst for the team getting him - you’re paying free agent premium and giving up major assets and you get stuck with an extra overpay year.
I normally watch big action movies at least twice in 2 different formats depending on availability- watched Supergirl in IMAX and you couldn’t pay me to ever watch it again in any format - the end fight scene was a CGI slop mess. You can’t have bad effects and bad writing.
@ShortHandedZS I don’t think he’s a bad guy - I just think he and his agents are bad at math. He’s gonna get his money and be in a worse hockey situation and be the albatross that takes the blame because of that money.
@SportsSturm I can’t believe the extra year isn’t making an impact. 34 year old Jason Robertson isn’t touching 12 mil anywhere but Dallas. His style of play he might not even be in the league.
At least Green Lantern had funny Ryan Reynolds, Madame Web has some eye candy… Supergirl is a total watch looker. Thinking each time, well maybe it’ll get better. ( Hint - it doesn’t.)
