Coach Harbaugh did what he came to do — took us from the dark days of RichRod and Brady Hoke all the way to a National Championship, with three straight Big Ten titles and wins over OSU along the way. These are monumental achievements for a program in a cold climate that doesn't recruit at Ohio State or Alabama levels. He did all this with character and class (no matter what the haters say), and by humbling himself, changing his coaching habits, and getting the assistant coaches he needed to get us over the hump.
I don’t blame Coach for wanting to pursue a different goal and not wanting to put up with the NCAA and Big Ten nonsense. He made it fun to be a fan again, and he's a Michigan legend forever. Thank you. #GoBlue
@Johnubacon You should have plenty of new book material about the Harbaugh era… Was Michigan its own worst enemy when it came to having coach finish his career in Ann Arbor?
Now that he’s gone let’s be real about Harbaugh…
-Struggled early but continued to build
- Bet on himself, took the pay cut and won the National Championship years later
- Focused on development instead of recruiting rankings
- Created a world class culture within the football program
- Unapologetically himself
- Never took the spotlight away from his players and took his licks when necessary from the media
ELITE Coach 🫡
The fact that accounts like @michigannation2 have legitimate followings makes me weep for the general intelligence of a terrifyingly decent-sized chunk of our fanbase.
@MattFinkes Dude you have tweeted on this 1000 times. Give it a rest. Take a break until 11/25, then jump back on and tell us how Michigan only won because they cheated and how you want Ryan Day fired.
@MattFinkes How many times you going to tweet about this Dinkes. Stop whining, you and Ryan Day can take your 1-3 records against Michigan and go seek counsel in coach Cooper on how to cope with losing to Michigan after 11/25. You will all turn your back on Day when he loses again anyway.
@11W It will be great seeing all the attention turned to Ryan Day on the evening of 11/25 when you guys all want him fired because he can’t beat Michigan.
