@gibbological @avcarrology Fascinating work!! I also work on community metabolic modelling and have been trying out MICOM lately. I want to introduce microbe A to a synthetic BC community to alter B and C growth rates. Would propagule pressure be relevant in this case? Thank you!
Excited to share my first research communication. Thanks to my prof @karthikraman, Shreyansh, @KarthikGeomicro, Chao for the guidance and support. Special mention to my lab members at RamanLab @iitmadras for their support at different points of my research.

Delighted to share our paper https://t.co/nGONdpl4fZ now out in @ISMEComms: Metabolic modelling to predict microbial interactions in deep sea extreme environment. Wonderful collaboration with @KarthikGeomicro, Zhichao Zhao & led by @dk_rusty@IBSE_IITM@rbc_dsai_iitm@iitmadras

#journorequest I am working on a story on the mental health infrastructure in #IITs and would like to speak to present and former #IIT students. If you would be willing to speak to me for the story, please do reach out. Thanks in advance!
Saw #uyire. Can't take my eye off the screen for a single min, even after these many years and so many times. Love you @ManiRatnamFC ☺️ @MadrasTalkies_
A challenge that every graduate student faces: how to read difficult research articles.
Here's how to understand research articles better using an AI-powered app (no cheating although it may feel like it 😀):
@erikphoel@JonNichEdwards I have used zotero. It works fine most of the time. I don't know y u got such a bad exp. Anyway, u can use bibtex if u know LaTex, its way easier to convert from one format to another...!
@ajfedorec@cssb_lab@michaelsulu Went through the project, found it very interesting. I do have some experience in microbiome modelling. Would love to have a chat with you..😄
New lab preprint: We used metabolic modelling to predict microbial interactions in the deep sea. Intriguingly, DPANN archaea dominated microbial interactions. Fantastic collaboration w/ @karthikraman@iitmadras. @AnantharamanLab@ZhichaoZhou_CHN https://t.co/e5Pu4Fhek0
