ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Apart from the 169 licensed surveyors in Kenya, we, the other professionals in the geospatial sector won't remain slaves in our own country.

WE DEMAND:
1. Reversal of the decision to bar the Bachelor of Technology in Land Surveying holders from obtaining practicing licenses in land survey which has affected hundreds of alumni and current students of the Technical University of Kenya.

2. An urgent review of all the laws regulating the survey profession in Kenya with adequate public participation.

3. Establishment of a Geospatial Institution modelled after the Kenya School of Law to facilitate licensure of graduates by offering CLEAR PATHWAY to licensing.

OTHERWISE, this will escalate!
1. We will file nil returns till we get licensed
2. We won't repay educational loans while we are not licensed to practice. We won't steal to pay @HELBpage

There's no way a bunch of USELESS men and women in the Land Surveyor's Board and the ISK will hinder thousands of professionals from serving Kenyans despite lagging far behind in land matters. Feasting on every tender, using 'young quacks' to do their jobs as they swing in office chairs waiting to get the deliverables and collect the pay cheque.

Playing with livelihoods is a WRONG TURN‼️😠🔴 We won't watch people holding the same qualifications as we do living in luxury as we languish in poverty. This is an actual trigger for violence if the stakeholders are not careful.
