@MeghanEMurphy@HeitorLejeune She's out of touch because she thinks Carney is a good leader and Trump isn't? Is possible reality really that constrained?
@SteveSkojec@michaelshermer@nytimes@WSJ No they didn't need frame x frame to approach him from behind, pepper spray him from behind, yank him from behind, have 4-5 officers on him from behind? It wasn't some phantom shot they heard, they fired it. Is the recommendation to stay home and close our eyes?
@michaelshermer How can we believe "U.S. officials" after what they told us happened in the first place? When he left the scene? The investigation and preservation of evidence should have started immediately.
@michaelshermer Agreed, but do you think unholstering his gun helped or harmed his ability to get out of the way. Was moving to the front of the vehicle, when it was moving (albeit backwards, but one could surmise for the purposes of going forward) the right move? He put himself there.
@michaelshermer@CathyYoung63@DJGrothe If the President hadn't sent masked, armed recruits in unmrkd cars into cities to detain & deport non-criminals this wldn't have happened either. Cld the offcr a) not put himself in front of a van that had started to bck up or b) gotten out of the way rather than pulling his gun
@ManhattanInst@Rafa_Mangual@WillCainShow Didn't hear any how there, just speculation for a possible motive to do so. Also, no explanation about why they wouldn't have done this before when the level was higher.
