As an Indigenous person, I find the immigration debate ironic. Legitimate concerns aside, why the racial stereotypes? Many white Canadians descend from immigrants who came seeking the same opportunities. Why celebrate your ancestors while condemning others? Isn't that hypocrisy?

Pensioners gave their productive years to serve our society. They deserve more than promises—they deserve dignity, financial security, and the peace of mind to enjoy their retirement.

Under Governor Seyi Makinde, pension payments in Oyo State were regularised, with payments made on or before the 25th of every month. This reflects a commitment to treating pension obligations as a responsibility, not an afterthought.

True leadership remembers those who served. True leadership keeps its promises. True leadership builds trust through action.
