@PascalMassimino Given the evolution these last years, it may get (exponentially ?) better in the future. Also, having another model to review AI changes may spot bugs. (in my experience of (below?) average level coder/projects, AI spots more bugs than it creates so itβs still a net positive)
@dhh I suspect you can substract Cached from Used, thus 0.13 GB "really" "currently" used, no? (1.3 GB would really be a lot, we used to run Linux desktop on 32 MB workstations 25 years ago)
@mitchellh@bepsays@adamhjk Average Joe user (like me) hasnβt beta access and use less than 5% of iTerm2 (or any software really) features, I guess π (never heard of the password manager). Now if someone made a fork restoring the MacOS 12 support so I could also use it on my 2015 MBA π
@adamzwasserman@lemire Sun Java compiler was free as beer in 1995, but proprietary until 2007, while GNU GCC (and particularly its C compiler) has been free as freedom since 1987 (and thanks to those who worked on its Amiga port - hi Philippe! - so I could learn C for free in the 90s ;)
We live in a time increasingly resembling the second half of the 1930s. I couldn't live with myself with the knowledge I didn't do more to stop another Hitler. In light of the Republican wavering and in memory of Navalny I will give $100 towards FPV drones for Ukr for every RT.
