@bradlander Tourists aren’t the only people who use Airbnb. Most New Yorkers don’t have guest rooms, and with the lack of reasonable/any hotels in many areas, Airbnb was the only way for our friends and families to visit. My mother can now no longer visit her granddaughter. We needed Airbnb.

@RealLyndaCarter Even in the 80s, a lot of banks required a husband to co-sign. My mom told me that’s why her first card was from @Citibank and she still stays loyal to them — because she could get a card from them (and not many others) without a husband co-signing. I was FLOORED. 🤯
