Comparison is something I've had to fight hard.
And for a long time I didn't even realize what I was really doing. Every time I looked at someone else's life, their team, their title, their success, I was quietly telling God He made a mistake with mine.
But here's what I've learned: you cannot be grateful and comparing at the same time. I believe they cannot coexist.
So today I want to challenge you — stop auditing someone else's blessing. Your calling, your story, your design is not an accident. God doesn't make mistakes.

LEGENDARY QUOTE:
#Rams head coach Sean McVay said in order to grow as a person you need to struggle in life.
“Show me anybody that's great in anything they do, I'll show you somebody that's persevered, demonstrated that mental toughness to overcome some obstacles and adversity”
The biggest thing baseball taught me:
It’s life in a uniform.
Good days, bad days, and everything in between. Let go of what you can’t control. And commit to what you can. Your effort, attitude and response to failures will continue to shape who you are. So keep stacking days.
After the WBC loss, here’s the reality young hitters need to understand:
Failure doesn’t disappear at higher levels… it gets exposed.
Even elite hitters:
– feel pressure
– guess wrong
– miss hittable pitches
– come up short in big moments
- choke
That’s the nature of the game.
And NO SYSTEM, or “method” eliminates that.
Geno’s faith is public, bold, and unapologetic. The best part is that not one ounce of it is for show. One of the most faithful and devoted followers of Christ I’ve ever known.
If you're not happy with your results at the plate so far this year, you either need:
- a better swing
- a better routine
- a better approach
- better timing
- a better mindset
- better perspective on the game
- better information
- better knowledge
Take full accountability.
Everything is a “you” issue.
Wish I would’ve heard this message sooner while I was playing.
Simple is being present.
Simple comes from accepting life as it is & then proceeding forward with gratitude.
Happiness is fleeting.
Success is fleeting.
Simplicity is just "being" & doing & being where your feet are while you're doing it.
Not living to impress others or living for others approval.
POWERFUL: Rondale Moore always spoke about how he wanted his team to win and it was never about individual goals.
Moore: “The Super Bowl is the only goal of mine”
Q: “You never think of an individual goal foryourself?”
RM: “No”
