Paul sums up the Christian life in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
-Rejoice always: when we rejoice, we are focused on God.
-Pray without ceasing: when we pray, we are focused on God.
-In everything give thanks: when we are thankful, we are focused on God.

When the truth is being suppressed and silenced, it just makes it that much more important to stand for and proclaim the Truth. Politics can’t change hearts or lives. Only Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, can change hearts and lives. (John 14:6)

Church, every Saturday evening, as the day winds down and you prepare to worship on Sunday, lift up a prayer for your pastor and leaders that they may boldly speak forth God’s Word. Pray for your fellow believers that they may worship boldly and that all is done to His glory.
