God’s hand leads us through the highs and lows of life. There is nowhere we can go, nothing we can do to keep God’s hand from guiding our lives. What a great comfort for us believers! The circumstances of our lives, good or bad, are not random. They are woven by the Lord’s hand.
Dear Christian, we are commanded to be meek (Matt 5:5) and have a gentle spirit that is known to everyone (Philippians 4:5). That means we are to be meek and have a gentle spirit even on social media.
When you start focusing on counting your blessings and thanking God for everything He gives you, your problems will grow smaller and smaller and He will get bigger and bigger.

(Colossians 3:16)
The wise man built his house upon the rock. That Rock is Jesus Christ, and that Rock, who cannot lie, gave us His Word which cannot lie. So stand on the Truth, my brethren. It will be a Rock through all life’s troubles, a lamp unto your feet, and a light unto your path.
We need to be careful not to work so hard that we forget what life is about. Work is a gift, our jobs are a gift, and we can find joy in them if we do our work and jobs to the glory of God.
Remember, Christian, that godliness with contentment is great gain. The poorest saint, rejoicing in Christ, has more than the worldling who possesses kingdoms. For Christ Himself is the believer’s inheritance; and if you have Him, what can you lack?
As believers, we live in an already/not yet state concerning eternity. We already have eternal life, though we do not yet live in the eternal state. While we are on this earth, we have time. We must make the most of the time we are given to bring glory to God.
@Scott_Wiener Surely you have actual proof of Kirk doing this. Otherwise what you’re doing is lying and dehumanizing him in an effort to be okay with his assassination. So, show your proof Senator.
Paul sums up the Christian life in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
-Rejoice always: when we rejoice, we are focused on God.
-Pray without ceasing: when we pray, we are focused on God.
-In everything give thanks: when we are thankful, we are focused on God.
When the truth is being suppressed and silenced, it just makes it that much more important to stand for and proclaim the Truth. Politics can’t change hearts or lives. Only Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, can change hearts and lives. (John 14:6)

“Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks”
-1 Thess 5:16-18a
If you’re a Christian, you should be the most thankful and joyful person on earth!
Nothing in this life can be worse than the position you were in before Christ.
We were once dead in our trespasses and sins, now saved by grace through faith in Christ. (Eph 2:1-10)
Church, every Saturday evening, as the day winds down and you prepare to worship on Sunday, lift up a prayer for your pastor and leaders that they may boldly speak forth God’s Word. Pray for your fellow believers that they may worship boldly and that all is done to His glory.
The existence of creation declares the faithfulness of God, as He faithfully upholds His created universe.
“And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power.” - Hebrews 1:3a NASB95
