In 2016, Dina Machuve took a 20-hour bus ride to attend her first DSA summer school.
That trip led her to join the DSA Secretariat, mentor students who went on to UC Berkeley and Google Research, and eventually co-found DevData Analytics.

What a way to close the Indaba! Day 6 was a powerful final day of learning and celebration.
It featured a final round of half-day workshops, a keynote by Dino Machuve (@DMachuve ) on End-to-End Deep Learning for Chicken Diseases Diagnosis, and the inspiring Maathai Impact Award Ceremony. The day culminated in the closing remarks and an awards ceremony to celebrate the incredible community built over the last week.
