@emmitonair I’m not sure one player would do it, but Darrell Green or Sean Taylor would certainly make a huge impact. I’d also consider London Fletcher, because the Commanders are having a lot of issues communicating on defense.
@JLas43_ I’m with you on this one. Soto, in addition to being prodigiously talented, had a fire in him that was contagious. The Mets are putting that fire out.
@SamLuckiniYW Is this ragebait? He’s 32, so he’s definitely not a “budding star”, and he was not good defensively until this season. You definitely can pay believing that was real and he can keep that up into his late 30s. He’s a solid player, no doubt, but he’s not worth overpaying for
@JLas43_ I’m not sure they’re going to spend the $15M it would take to get out from under Stanton, plus, I genuinely believe Stanton is a leader in the clubhouse, and they love that shit. A lockout would take of this, though…
@Dougtwit23@NFL_Convo No one is playing him, but he also shouldn’t be in the wire since it’s pretty universally agreed that he has immense talent, and we’ve had an idea that a trade was coming.
@JLas43_ Everyone believes they can win, but not that team. They knew they would. What’s more, no else believed they could beat them, especially in ‘98
@JLas43_ It’s even more than that. I was there for the dynasty, and they played like they knew they were going to win everyday. They defeated teams long before they played 9 innings. The body language of the other teams as they were trounced day in and day out is like nothing you see now
@PoorIcon@MikalGOAT@FungoMLB You’re throwing a temper tantrum on the internet like a toddler on steroids over a mathematical algorithm that you don’t understand.
@JLas43_ If they do that, sweep the Rays, and take two of the three from Baltimore, and the Rays go 11-8 over their last 19, they’ll finished tied for the division and the season series.
