I have just been advised that there will be a fireworks display in Centenary Park this evening after the switching on of Christmas lights.
My own personal preference would have been not to have fireworks but this has already been arranged.
I am concerned about dogs which may be frightened by the fireworks and call on all dog owners to lock up their dogs this evening.
