@Rickyh24@tylermilliken_ He's delusional, as we saw earlier this year when he was getting shelled and just shook his head non-stop when Cora went to take him out.
Hundreds of ALPA pilots are on Capitol Hill today, asking Congress to protect Section 4 of the ROTOR Act in any final aviation safety bill. When proven technology exists and consequences are too great to ignore, Congress must not settle for a partial fix. #ALPA2026Summit
@ALPAPresident and Tim and Sheri Lilley told reporters today: a full ADS-B In mandate must be in any final aviation safety legislation Congress passes. Lives are on the line –– safety cannot wait. #ALPA2026Summit
At our final meeting we had the pleasure of meeting @sethmoulton@RepMoulton. We had a wonderful discussion with Avi regarding the need for ADS-B In as a critical safety component and the important aspects of the ROTOR Act that need to be included in a final bill. #ALPA2026Summit
Third meeting was with the office of @RepStephenLynch. We had a great discussion on a wide range of aviation related topics, most importantly ADS-B In and critical safety provisions of the ROTOR Act that we hope to bring to airline flight decks. #ALPA2026Summit
Our second meeting was at the office of @SenMarkey. We had a great discussion about the benefits of ADS-B In for airliners as well as important provisions of the ROTOR Act. We look forward to the installation of these critical safety systems in every flight deck. #ALPA2026Summit
We had a wonderful and productive meeting today with @SenWarren regarding ADS-B In technology that is essential for aviation safety. We look forward to these critical aspects of the ROTOR Act being included in final legislation to make our skies even safer. #ALPA2026Summit
Really happy to have been asked to join the #ALPA2026Summit. I'm very much looking forward to meeting with my Senators and Representative on Capitol Hill tomorrow.
MLB note to Commissioner Manfred
Every team should play on Opening day, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day and your national broadcast partners should be forced to air games throughout the day
How this isn't a thing I have no idea
I have a degree from Cal and couldn't afford my own 100yr old studio apt in Oakland until I was 32. My parents didn't graduate college and bought their first home at 25 off my dad's retail assistant manager salary. Was it because I have a cell phone and they didn't?
@anguillaman2@jimsoxfan Yeah, they hide behind the luxury tax figures, which utilize an average value of contracts. That's the number most people see, but then the actual cash for 2026, which got reported about 2 weeks ago, is 12th in baseball. Henry just doesn't invest in the team the way he should.
@joonlee Thank you @joonlee for this piece on the state of the Red Sox. This is the ultimate primer for everything that is, and has been, going wrong with the team. I only wish that something would change within Henry and Co so that we can get back to having a team that we can be proud of
