@DenayeWyland I completely agree with you! Many students in my student teaching placement have so mouth more going on outside of school. Sometimes as a teacher we just need to be the support system for our students that they don’t have at home.

A1: One word I would use to describe On The Come Up is bold. The book challenges its readers but also allows for students to easily relate to it. I love reading books I can relate to and books that give me a different perspective than my own! #ECmiddlegradesbookclub
