@SenSanders He does not HAVE a trillion dollars. Anyone can make any argument from their vantage point about a structure that requires the seizure of the value that other people create. That does not represent freedom. It’s weak sauce!
@sweatystartup Nonsense.. deadlifts and squats are remarkably beneficial movements that build and maintain strength. They don’t have to be heavy, I think that’s where people get into trouble!
@kabster@adamcarolla I think this gives us some insight into a shrewd observation about the reality of American politics she made some years ago… she became VP!
@CassandraRules@TheGuySwann@RepThomasMassie I’m not so sure this hasn’t been the case in virtually every political race in the last 50 years. Definitely changes one’s perspective on what our political system really is.
@Heccles94 And maintain them, and pay the taxes on them, and carry the liabilities associated with the ownership of the property. So No they do not “Just”, profit from them. Ideologies rot honestly discourse!
@tailso1988 The concept of a living wage is preposterous. People speak of this as if it is something that can be decreed from on high without consequence. It can not. Artificially forcing a wage higher, then in turn forces the price of the product higher. Unemployment follows thereafter!
@RepSaraJacobs It would have sufficed to just say “Yes”. But attacking a person who’s asking a question that is addressing the concerns of millions, makes him appear as just another elite that is above accountability. No different than Omar dodging and weaving past an honest response. Sad
@AnnieJacobsen I’m gonna get this book I promise… but the next one after that has got to be a less terrifying comedy fiction or a scenario about some positive technological developments…. Jk
@Heccles94 Vilifying billionaires for advancements in technology is absurd. All of those humans are now freed up to pursue employment in fields where they are needed. Henry Hazlitt addressed this in Economics In One Lesson in 1946.
