@mike_lamar Yes, absolutely! Make sure to enable "Use WebDAV method" in the account settings. https://t.co/vLxO9OXbTz

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@SimonOfHH CalDAV-Sync verwendet Androids zentrale Kalenderdatenbank. Die meisten Kalenderapps tun das auch und sind daher kompatibel. Outlook meines Wissens leider nicht.

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@dithreabhach Thanks for the reminder. Next version will fix this!

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@candrea21 That happens due to Android's energy saving mode. Next version will have a fix for it. Until then, try these workarounds: https://t.co/acJXc5cLaQ

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@luciancioroianu There are basically two ways to achieve this: 1. Add the FB/IG profile as URL, then it's stored inside the CardDAV contact and synced to the server. 2. Join the FB/IG contact with the CardDAV contact on the phone. This is done on a higher level and not synced to the server.

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@nioc Yes. Google now forbids embedded browser windows, we need to open an external browser instead. Will be fixed by the next update!

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@dgoodlad "Events"... Same goes for contacts, of course.

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@dgoodlad In that case, you can just delete the account from the phone and then recreate it. All events that have not yet been synced to the server will be gone and you're starting over with the current state of the server.

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@dgoodlad Sorry for the late reply. You can enable "one way sync" in account settings. Then local changes won't be synced to the server.

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@fizzfaldt No, if all calendars are linked to the user principal you just need one account. What kind of server is it?

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@Hans_11111 Die App ist auch auf Amazon verfügbar: https://t.co/GE7Zmqd739

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@Stuart_SP Sorry :/ Not our invention. There are much better ways to secure an account. I'm glad it works for you now, thanks for the feedback!

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@einvat3r Einfach statt dem normalen Password. Dh. die AppleID als Username und dann das appspezifische Passwort als Passwort.

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@Stuart_SP So basically it breaks down to two steps: 1. enable two step auth if not yet enabled 2. create an app specific password

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@Stuart_SP Of course you can use them, but you have to create app specific passwords for them as described in the link https://t.co/BAngFDhUqU

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@Stuart_SP No. Apple doesn't support two step auth for 3rd party apps. Instead, they require app specific passwords

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@Stuart_SP Sorry for the late reply. We're literally drowning in mails on this topic since Thursday.

[Marten Gajda @dmfs_org]

@Stuart_SP Your SS for Calendar apparently still has an auth token. Once it expires or you recreate the account, it'll ned such a password, too.
