I'm going live on @stlpublicradio today to talk about something controversial: anthropomorphizing & naming wild animals. Is it unscientific? Does it help or harm conservation? What do you think?
Tune in to find out my opinion at noon CT: https://t.co/T4LgMIQBUU

"I don't think we will eradicate misogyny in my lifetime. We’ll continue to work for it, but we often can’t control how people show up and we all have to make sure we are grounded in our own moral center. And as women who want to do big things, we can use that moral center as the unwavering reminder that what we are doing is not a power play. High achieving women can be misinterpreted as being ego-driven and it’s maddening. I think any woman who has tried to change the world knows that they are not in it for ego or riches because it can be a brutal ride. This is not the path you take if you want your ego to be stroked or to have things handed to you. It is tough being a woman doing big, challenging things."
My gratitude to @dothegoodery for featuring this interview with me as part of Women's History Month. I share this not for recognition, but in hopes some women reading this know you are not alone in the challenges we face navigating this world!
"From soulful melodies to heart-pounding rodeos, Black folks have left an indelible mark on #countrymusic, cowboy culture, and beyond. Our contributions in music, electrifying line dancing, farming and southern cuisine resonate deeply, enriching the tapestry of our shared heritage. Let's celebrate and honor our enduring legacy. #BlackHistoryMonth #CountryCulture". #RootsOfCountry #ChallengingStereotypes

Do you like weird stuff?
I'm back on The Unbelievable with Dan Aykroyd explaining some strange natural phenomena in tonight's episode "What Lies Beneath."
Catch it on @HISTORY at 10pm ET tonight!
I'll take you on a journey to discover some incredible wild animals - from red wolves and native bees to hellbenders and javelina - in my new @Wondrium course "Field Guide to North American Wildlife."
What came first: bees, wasps, or flowering plants? 🐝
For more fascinating species, check out @NWF wildlife expert @Dmizejewski's new online course, "Field Guide to North American Wildlife," only on @Wondrium. Learn more and get a special offer 📲: https://t.co/k4l0As3ore
@NWF@Wondrium I'm so excited by @Wondrium course is finally out. In each episode, I'll take you on a deep dive about some of North America's coolest wildlife. I hope you'll dive in with me and learn more about wildlife from javelinas and horseshoe crabs to red wolves and hellbenders!
This bear paced the border wall for three hours in distress. Cut off from millennia-old pathways that connect mountains and streams and springs and bears to life itself. This is the now-gone wild world. The freedom to roam is severed. Life is walled.
BONUS: This isn't just about learning about wildlife. Every view of the series supports the conservation programs of @nwf.
And I've got an exclusive "friends and family" free month's subscription to @Wondrium if you use this link: https://t.co/qnZ89Lj1O0.

You'll learn some mind-blowing facts, even about common species you already know all about - or think you do. I use storytelling in each episode to paint a day in the lives of these fascinating animals so you really get to know them.
OK, so what the hell are you supposed to do about this? From my friend and spokesperson for the @NFW@Dmizejewski - "The most important thing to do is grow a diversity of flowering native plants that bloom throughout all seasons."
What am I so excited about??? Watch this space tomorrow for a big announcement about a wildlife project I've been working on for the last two years. Can't wait to share it with you.
