@BlueDog876@BrianV279208@TheWrigleyWire You keep acting like those first 15 games don’t count? When you play like that you hurt a team. For some reason you don’t want to count that.
Your only torching me in your own delusional mindset
@BlueDog876@BrianV279208@TheWrigleyWire You can find all kinds of crazy ranges for players to make their stats look good.
This is a senseless convo if you think he is a good hitter at this stage.
His walking has improved and if this trend continues he could be on to major hitting improvements
@BlueDog876@BrianV279208@TheWrigleyWire Because your silly. His wrc+ for the season, is 112, which makes him at #79
You can just pick and choose ranges that help a player vs hurt a player. I’m using season to date. He isn’t a good hitter. Wake up
@BlueDog876@TheWrigleyWire@BrianV279208 He is #82 in SLG% this season, #92 in Batting Average, 70th in RBI, #62 in RBI…I can go on. He is 12th in SB (nothing to do with hitting, but still an offensive stat).
How is any of that hitting elite? Explain to me.
@BlueDog876@TheWrigleyWire@BrianV279208 I don’t hate the guy, I’m just looking at it realistically. He had a terrible second half last year lol. And shy of the torrid two months wasn’t really that good of a hitter. He has been walking and that’s a sign of a better plate approach
@BlueDog876@TheWrigleyWire@BrianV279208 No his hitting is pretty poor. He had a two month hot streak last year, aside from that it’s not good. His walk rate is going up this year which is fantastic for him.
If he was just an average OF defensively he might not even start regularly
