After Dronacharya was KILLED, Ashwatthama sworn to AVENGE his father's death.
He planned to ATTACK Pandavas at night; In desperation he slaughtered people in their sleep mercilessly. Unknowingly KILLING ‘Sons of Pandavas’.
This is one of the DARKEST episodes in “Mahabharata”…
Since yesterday, people like Sushmita Sen have been sharing the constitutional preamble, and we know why.
Ironically, the construction of the temple has been done after a due process followed as prescribed in the constitution. The SC special bench, including a MusIim judge, by the power bestowed upon them by the constitution, gave a unanimous decision in favor of the temple.
Now let's come to Babri demoIition. Babri demoIition was unconstitutional. That's why cases were filed, people were arrested, jailed, and paid the price in a decade long process, again as per the constitution.
But Babri demoIition and Mandir construction are two different things. The decision in favor of the temple was given because it was archaeologically proven that Babri was made after the demolition of the old Ram Mandir. The decision would still be given in favor of the Mandir, had the Babri been intact. In that case, it would have been shifted before Mandir construction.
So cry and complain as much as you want; that's your right as per the constitution, but Mandir construction has been done as per the constitution only. People sheepishly sharing the constitutional preamble are just making a fool out of themselves.
The president of #Maldives used to wear "India out" t-shirt during election campaign.
Imagine the impact if PM Modi just rt any tweet having #MaldivesOut hashtag in it.
Not to forget no Indian gvt official has spoken anything against them yet. Only twitter bashing till now..
Dear Indians,
Please listen to Maldivian ministers who desperately want Indians out. Cancel your travel plans (if any) for the Maldives as soon as possible.
Why do you want to go to a country whose people hate you?
Lakshadweep awaits you.
Galwan. Line of Actual Control. A battalion is at a state of high alert, eyeball to eyeball with the PLA.
Tangdhar. Line of Control. An infantry section is out on patrol in waist deep snow, ready to foil an infiltration attempt from Pakistan.
North-East. Deep in the jungles, a young company commander ignores the sounds of the jungle. He waits with his soldiers in an ambush. He has received intelligence that terrorists are planning the next big attack somewhere in his area of responsibility.
Siachen. Minus 60 degrees. 20,000 feet above sea level. Frozen winds howling at 100 kmph. A soldier checks his weapon, scans the area in front of him for the hundredth time and gives an “all okay” report to his platoon commander.
They will not sleep. Not this night or the next. Or the nights after that.
In a village somewhere in India, a widow holds her two young children close to her. She points to a photograph on the wall. She tells them about their father who laid down his life for the country. She tells them that one day they will wear the uniform and follow in the footsteps of their father and serve the nation.
This is what our soldiers undergo every single day.
This is the price of our freedom.
Today, spare a thought for the soldier. He is willing to die for you and he doesn’t even know who you are. That you are Indian is enough for him. And for that reason alone, he will sacrifice himself and his family for you.
My New Year resolution is to be an Indian worth fighting for.
What’s yours?
Happy New Year, India.
