@Emolclause So the fed govmnt shouldn't cut spending, because every program must exist forever just to provide govmnt jobs? Is the goal of each program (1) to achieve its stated objective, or (2) simply to employ people? If it's #2, just pay people to dig holes and fill them. Which is it?
@AnnieAndrewsMD Ok. So you did your job for your scheduled shift? You don't ever go to a sporting event, or a night at the theatre on your day off? It's called leisure time because no one works 24-7. Turn the self-righteousness down a bit.
@marklevinshow It’s about prioritization. Attacks coming from Lebanon are not trivial, these types of skirmishes always pop up at the 11th hour of deals like this. Stay focused we can deal with Hezbolllah in due time, but get the Iranians to sign the deal .
@SenWarren It’s not cash. It’s a value producing company that has created 1000s of jobs. Jobs that feed families that support local economies, and pay federal taxes. BTW poor people don’t create jobs, wealthy people do.
@jacobsoboroff No one is blaming the ballot counters necessarily. It’s the whole system. A jungle primary, extremely lax voter ID requirements, everyone gets a mail in ballot, then weeks and weeks of “counting”. The opportunity for fraud is endless, and it’s all suspect.
@NetworkDirecto1 Is that liability or full coverage? A 20 year old, paid off car can still do major damage to people and property in an accident. Not sure what the complaint is here. If you cause an accident, even un-intentional, who pays for that damage?
@girdley The only thing restaurants can sell is food quality and service. Whenever a restaurant competes on price alone they have to sacrifice one or both of those things. Every business operation decision must protect both. That’s the story of every restaurant that fails.
Preliminary reports show the driver did not qualify for a CDL & NY still granted it. The litigators for the victims and families in this crash should include the state of NY in addition to the bus company.

@Melissa48039358@KyleBusch A medical expert on here theorized that Kyle shrugged it off as a bad cold or sinus infection. Rather than getting to a doctor or hospital he tried “power through”. If you’re sick for more than a couple days get to a doctor and get checked out.
@mattvanswol Maybe but it’s a huge security operation for him to attend what is supposed to be an intimate wedding ceremony. Also being in the Bahamas, you have to copy with a foreign country. Honestly I think he is just trying to be respectful of his son and new wife.
@C4CEO So for centuries man lived without daylight savings time and we’ve only had it for 110 years. It would be a disaster somehow to eliminate it? Not only that Arizona and Hawaii do not observe it, are their circadian rhythms messed up? This is an ill-informed argument.
@GovernorVA Don’t gaslight. The Virginia Supreme Court, ruled that the assembly and the governor did not follow proper procedures to bring forth the ballot initiative/constitutuonal amendment.
Bring it honestly, using the proper procedure, and then see what happens.
I wonder why companies don’t embrace it. Look we all know AI code is not ready for prime time. But what if the company gave folks a sandbox to develop stuff 90% and then hire programmers to get it across the finish line. Who know better about apps for saving time than the employees in the seats. If Bob has a self made app that makes his job easier and saves time how much could that be worth across and an organization?
Years ago Rush Limbaugh pointed out that the staffers in Washington hold most of the power. If we ever impose term limits it would have to be on staffers too. Most of these people are entrenched bureaucrats. They serve for decades on Dem and Republican staffs. They are most loyal to power and money.
@CBoxSports@JimBowdenGM I would love to see him stay, but I give it a 10% chance Elly stays in Cincy as his contract winds down over the next couple years. And I think 10% is being generous. He will go to LA or New York.
It took courage to start, and it will take courage to try again. I've been in business for 10 years starting from scratch. COVID completely wiped out my first company. Finding a depth of courage you never knew you had is what makes successful business owners. The winners are the ones who never quit. Non-entrepreneurs have no idea. My advice to her "Stick with it."
@lindsay__stamp Make a “car payment” to yourself into a mutual fund or index fund for 3-5 years. Earn the interest for yourself and pay cash when you hit the desired number.
