Leg 5 of our @TheThamesPath walk yesterday. Another great day by the river between Tadpole Bridge and Northmoor Lock. Pity the Plough in Appleton had a burst pipe, but at least we knew before we set off, so dinner at the Maybush in Newbridge before finishing our days walk.

Leg 4 of our @ThamesPathNT source to sea walk yesterday. Buscot to the Trout at Tadpole Bridge. Treated to an aerial display of jet fighters, maybe practising for Farnborough? Had to shelter in the pub for an hour from a spot of rain - what a shame!

Today sees our 3rd leg of our source to sea walk, from Hannington Bridge to Buscot. Looks like the weather will be kind to us again.

Yesterday we started our source to sea walk of @ThamesPathNT. About 20km from Thames Head to Cricklade. Very enjoyable walking from Thames Head to Ashton Keynes. Muddy in places but not impassable. Beyond AK was a bit different!

The route is essentially underwater from Waterhay through to Cricklade, so had to walk on the roads to the south of the river. Good food and a decent beer in the Red Lion at Cricklade. We will attempt the next section in a month or so.
