DMT Patterns are generated from Bitcoin data using the Digital Matter Theory (DMT) framework.
Values from block fields are mapped to variables within a GLSL shader, resulting in a collection of unique animated variants.
Mint (free) is ongoing: https://t.co/58IwMpDANJ
The Sonified Patterns blockdrop is now live! It's taken a bit of time, but we got there π₯³π

The Patterns can now be downloaded from the website (https://t.co/32ot1GL5x6) in 4K.
Tap this image to load, then tap and hold to bring up the menu, then tap on "Load in 4K".
The Sonified Patterns blockdrop is nearly ready - the script has been approved, and has now been inscribed.
This will be a free drop for the Patterns collection. If you haven't got one yet, you can pick one up here:

Another teaser - block 775255:
Just small update regarding the Sonified Patterns blockdrop - still waiting for the script to be reviewed by @mscribeio - hopefully won't be much longer.
Another teaser - this is #776137 - it's no longer available, but you can get another one from https://t.co/58IwMpE8Dh π
The upcoming Sonified Patterns collection will be another free ( - ish, there is a small MScribe mint fee) blockdrop to Patterns holders. If you haven't got one yet (or a few π), you can pick one up here:

#774719 (still available)
The code for the Sonified Patterns blockdrop needed a bit of tweaking to address a couple of issues, and has now been given to @mscribeio for review.
Here's another teaser - #775024, F Major.
I think it sounds a bit like the bagpipes, maybe that's just me though π
The two red squares display where the rgb values are being read from. The values of these areas are averaged and these values are then normalized to create a frequency within a predefined range, and then snapped to a note in a key derived from the chainwork field.
#774608, E Maj
Made a couple of cool updates:
- the frequencies generated from the pattern's sampled rgb values are now snapped to notes
- the key used is selected via the chainwork field
e.g. Pattern 774209 is in the key of G# Major
1/ Just an update on the Sonified Patterns. I think they're nearly finished, maybe a little more tweaking before releasing the blockdrop.
Here's a bit of high-level info on how they're made:
There are areas of the visual pattern that are being constantly sampled. Using the Web
2/ Audio API, a number of oscillators are created and the average values of the sampled colours are used to generate the frequencies of the oscillators. The Bitcoin Hash and Merkle Root fields are used to generate the waveform for some of the oscillators, so the sound of each
Just a quick status update...
The mint is currently stalled at 52% - at some point though focus will come back to Ordinals and the DMT narrative.
Development of the Sonified Patterns has taken a back seat for the moment as I've needed to spend time getting to grips with AI π
Just playing around with adding the functionality for the patterns to generate sounds dynamically - a little bit fiddlier than I though it would be - always the way π
The progress so far - a sine and triangle oscillator with the pattern modulating a lowpass filter on the sine.
