The son of a family friend was tested by Allah;
His visited a friend’s shop, and the friend brought him back home in his sister’s car.
The boy forgot his phone inside and only realised at night. Upon realising, he called his friend and asked him to contact his sister to check if she had seen the phone in her car.
She checked and confirmed that she had. He then said he would come pick up his friend so they could go to the sister’s house to collect it. He took his aunt’s car. Before leaving, his very young brother pleaded to come along, but he refused. The aunt, however, insisted, so he agreed.
On the way, they had an accident. He crashed into a pole, which fell on three people on a bike( siblings on their way home. )His younger brother died, and his friend broke his neck and passed away the next day. That’s five lives gone. Subhanallah. The driver survived with broken ribs and is currently admitted in hospital.
Please say some prayers for the departed souls. May Allah forgive their shortcomings and grant them Jannah, and may Allah make it easy for the driver in this trying time.

Imagine your wife winning PS5 at the office and she gives another man at the office with smiles and pictures.
And she comes home to tell you then gaslight you that you're overreacting when you complain.
I swear she hates you.
Someone passed away but there are more tweets about taking down her social media accounts to hide her posts than duas for Allah to have mercy on her. A lesson to all of us alive.
You took the baby to help her focus on her exams but in turn got distracted and lost focus on invigilating. Who was doing your job when you were busy taking pictures and nursing a baby sir?
Earlier today I was ironing some clients clothe with the gas iron when I had the sudden urge to use the toilet. I turned off the gas and went to the toilet.
I went about with other things when I came out thinking the iron was off.
Next thing I heard was Mummy your table is burning.
I rushed down to find that the gas was still on and I had only increased the heat instead of turning it off.
What amazed me was that the rubber iron mat that came with it didn't burn but everything beneath it melted. Does anyone know the kind of material they use in making the mat?
Alhamdullilah, what if it happened during the week when my kids are not around?
Why is it so hard to fix the power problem in this country so we don't have to resort to endangering our lives trying to solve problems that we shouldn't be having in 2026?
In all, Alhamdullilah.
This is the Sallah touch, known in Islamic tradition as the Zabiba. This is a physical callus formed on the forehead from the repeated friction and pressure of prostration during prayer.
Although some culture, largely due to unawareness, view it as a definitive badge of intense piety. However, its appearance relies heavily on individual biological factors such as skin melanin and bone anatomy. This means that it is a physiological response to certain prayer surfaces rather than a spiritual metric.
This is why you can see a young guy with this, yet see an older person who also prays without it.
In fact, Ibn Abbas clarified that the "trace of prostration" mentioned in Surah Al-Fath refers to an inner humility and good character that reflects on a person's demeanor, or a spiritual light in the afterlife, rather than a physical skin discoloration.
This was why when Abdullah ibn Umar once saw a man with a deep prayer mark on his forehead, he cautioned him against making this mark a point of pride, and told him directly that the true mark of a believer is inside his heart, not stamped on his face.
By this, it becomes obvious that true righteousness in Islam cannot be measured by a physical calloused scar, but by the sincerity and ethical conduct a person carries into the world.
Allah knows best.
