@andrewterrygolf Good and well maintained courses attract new members and retain existing ones. Upgrading the clubhouse is nice, but rarely brings in the revenues. So the answer is course, course, course!
@JoePJRobertson@TomTugendhat@alzheimerssoc Why is that you and so many of your colleagues feel the need to carry out business on X? This is just performative! Just get on with the work you are elected for.
@Ross_Greer If we get an independent audit done and the tax take is found to be “light” then I take it you will resign along with all incumbents that voted for this crazy set up.
@RonDeSantis@TrumpTurnberry Great course, perhaps even the best!
BUT RUBBISH INFRASTRUCTURE FOR AN EVENT OF THIS MAGNITUDE. Needs more accommodation, better roads, transport links. AND I MEAN SERIOUSLY MORE! Currently wouldn’t cope!
@LIVGolfNation I thought it was a mediocre tournament! Why you getting so wound up about it? We in the UK don’t hate Americans, but folks like you don’t do much good.
@FatimaJojiSnp Another dafty who doesn’t understand that Scotland has devolution with devolved tax raising powers. Big issue however is that they, the SNP, don’t know how to manage those powers properly, or indeed their own party finances. Nothing to see here - just another THICKO!
@larabirdsnp@theSNP Scotland already has devolved power dafty! And by the way, your party are very poor at managing that power. In fact they can’t even run their own party finances! I see you’re another grievance politician!
@kelvmackenzie Gabby is entitled to his opinion, and in all honesty a realistic assessment from an ex pro footballer is, in my opinion got way more validity than any journalist.
@ScotGovFM@JohnSwinney@scotgov Are you installing Peter Murrell as CEO, and N Sturgeon as COO! Sounds like a great investment, otherwise known as Government Debt.
@bphillipsonMP And that’s Socialism for you. GREAT at spending other peoples money, until it runs out. You folks really do need to remember that it’s the private sector that pays the taxes that allows Public Sectors to be funded.
@EwenDCameron Totally correct, and while football performance is the the most important aspect another example is REFS. Last Scottish referee at a World Cup - Hugh Dallas in 2002. NO FIFA REFS IN 24 years.
@EwenDCameron Next manager will either be John McGlynn or Darren Fletcher. More likely to be Fletcher. IF it was an elite job, then Moyes, McInnes or similar might be considered, but it is most definitely not elite! Can’t see it being a non Scot, as SFA have no imagination.
