HMS Anson recently completed a Submarine Maintenance Period (SMP) at HMAS Stirling.

This highlights trilateral collaboration, with teams from each nation, as well as industry across the Australian and UK supply chain working to deliver the SMP.

The @NATO Submarine Rescue System's rescue vehicle, nicknamed "Nemo," can dive to depths of 610 metres to reach submarines in distress and carry 12 crew members back to the surface at a time.

Last week, the NATO Submarine Rescue System was fitted onto a Norwegian Coastguard ship in preparation for the next phase of an exercise.

Our work with @JFDGlobal ensures NATO has a system that’s ready to respond.

🗓️ #OTD in 1963 HMS Dreadnought – the UK’s first nuclear-powered submarine was commissioned into the Royal Navy.

63 years later, we’re delivering the future Dreadnought Class. With a supplier base 95% accounted for by the UK, delivering the class is a true national endeavour.

Submarine launches have changed since the days of dynamic launches.

Today launches are a controlled process over 2-3 days that see the submarine rolled out of Devonshire Dock Hall onto the shiplift and lowered into the water at 10mm per minute to a depth of 20m. #SubmarineFacts

SDA Chief Strategic Systems Executive, Rear Adm. Lauchlan and US Director for Strategic Systems Programs, Vice Adm. Wolfe, opened the Trident Training Facility extension at HMNB Clyde 🤝.

The facility provides Trident Strategic Weapon System training for the Dreadnought Class.
