HMS Anson recently completed a Submarine Maintenance Period (SMP) at HMAS Stirling.
This highlights trilateral collaboration, with teams from each nation, as well as industry across the Australian and UK supply chain working to deliver the SMP.

Last week, the NATO Submarine Rescue System was fitted onto a Norwegian Coastguard ship in preparation for the next phase of an exercise.

Submarine launches have changed since the days of dynamic launches.
Today launches are a controlled process over 2-3 days that see the submarine rolled out of Devonshire Dock Hall onto the shiplift and lowered into the water at 10mm per minute to a depth of 20m. #SubmarineFacts

The facility provides Trident Strategic Weapon System training for the Dreadnought Class.
