@ThePoniExpress I’m not even going to give it a letter grade. I’m grading it on a @Pirates level pick. It just doesn’t make sense. They’re completely wasting this entire draft so far.
The only logical explanation for the @steelers draft so far is Omar Khan must be letting one of his kids or the @Pirates make the draft decisions so far. I have Eagles fans breaking my balls telling me we are 2 drafts away from being the Jets. #NFLdraft#horrible
@kylamb8 So what I’m hearing now is the offense was bad in Pittsburgh, bad in Atlanta, but good with in his prime Derrick Henry, so let give him the OC job with one of the most loaded offenses in college? I hope he does great, but I just don’t see it.
@kylamb8 Again, I hope to God I’m wrong, but the Steelers only made the playoffs last year because of the defense, in spite of the offense. Here’s hoping he pulls a Chip Kelly on us though.
@kylamb8 The WR were bad, the line was mid and Rogers is old, and we still ran the most predictable run plays and long drawn out attempts at passing down the field where Roger’s would get sacked. He did very little counters or quick passes. So what did he do to help the offense?
@kylamb8 We watched very different Steelers games then, and I’m going to guess it’s probably 90/10 in my favor of what Steelers fans believe. There was no creativity in the offense, and our best plays were a check down to Gainwell. The playcalling did nothing to help.
@SpencerHolbrook@LettermenRow@Birm As a Steelers and Ohio State fan, the only way this makes sense is if he’s paying $3million a year towards the NIL fund just to have theOC title, and then Day or ANYONE else will actually call the plays. He was absolutely horrible last season for the Steelers. Brutal!
@ohiotate You’re too trusting. I’m a Steelers fan, and I can tell you he was absolute garbage as a play caller. I can only hope he’s paying the NIL fund for the OC title and Day will just call the plays.
@AWardSports@971thefan@10TV@Birm I’m a 48 year old lifelong Steelers fan and Ohio State fan, and i can tell you this is the worst hire in my lifetime. It makes me think Ryan Day is trying to get fired. Just absolute garbage!
I appreciate Tomlin and what he’s done for the @steelers , but I’m old enough to remember this same story with @CowherCBS. Stale offense, good defense and just good enough to make the playoffs & get a later draft pick. It’s time to for a change to break the cycle.
@BobbyCarpShow The obsession with trying to run on the right side of the line was infuriating! It didn’t work all game, and all the pressure was coming from there too, but Hartline kept calling the plays to that side. I was having major flashbacks to the Michigan game last year.
@Birm This game was like a combination of the horrible play calling in the Michigan game last year, combined with the officiating in the 2019 Clemson game, and Fielding throwing in his clutch missed field goals as usual. Just brutal!
