$abvx somebody always knows…high short interest and non-stop selling over the last few weeks. Guessing their FDA meetings might not have been positive after all, perhaps they get a black box label when it’s approved.
@biotech_jack@unemon1 “It’s the opportunity to build a commercial organization from the GROUND UP…”. Obviously they need to hire and keep the business running, but this the tell for them going it alone.
@DmitryKovalchuk And guess who advised Novartis? It was Centerview, the same firm advising $ABVX ….Centerview saw first hand how this played out (but on the other side).
@DK_Assist your last app update broke NFL bestball drafts…it’s now super laggy and basically doesn’t tell you when you’re pick is up until you’ve already missed it.
@d4ybroken It’s possible M&A is back in the cards, but likely a player positioning for a nice Q2 beat when they report early Aug. When I see puts STO, usually it represents confidence in the co. Being undervalued. You’d see more OTM calls hitting the tape if buyout i.e recent INFA buyout
@taeyoon43334145@planert41 Don’t really understand the BO rumor on this one…valued at $15B in a deal last year, trading at ~$14B, but $65 calls hammered?!?! 13x EV/sales would be like a $19B valuation and equate to a $69/share price for those calls to even make sense. 13x is super expense given comps.
@taeyoon43334145@LogicalThesis@jfais20 Most of the position is likely retail given the premium paid. agree on INFA, but that was like 2,000 contracts out of 18,000 in OI at the time (or 11%). The FLGT position is 60% of contracts in OI, so a much bigger dump.
