@truthache68@BobMarshallX You do realise how low in the sky the Sun must be for this picture to be possible on your flat earth, right? That’s lower than the cruising altitude of commercial airliners by half the altitude. Btw, you can measure horizon drop with a simple app on your phone. We all can anyway
@MattAboody@HomerRinco76181@vegastarr Why doesnt it make sense that over time Earth’s average surface temperature has increased? Global warming doesn’t mean every single day is hotter everywhere, but over decades the overall temperature trend goes up.
@HomerRinco76181@vegastarr It's not about distance. When it's summer the part of the Earth you live on is tilted toward the sun.
Sunlight hits more directly instead of at a shallow angle. Days are longer, so you get more hours of heating. In the winter it's the opposite. We really need voter tests.
@GracklePhD@vegastarr Apparently it’s to keep us working so we can pay taxes and bills. I’m not really sure how they shape of the earth has any bearing on that, but if it means believing the Earth is flat will make everything free so I don’t have bills and taxes to pay, then call me true believer!
@Centerfield44@vegastarr And somehow you think the shape of Earth changes the fact that we all have to work for what we need and pay bills? Now that you know the Earth is flat, what metric of your life has actually improved as a direct result of it?
@allMadeInTiawan@reckoningofpath@BrandonMacnz@NefelibataGod@FELibrary_ Did you forget the flat earth is covered by a dome? LEO is impossible. You can verify the speed of the ISS with Speed = Distance / Time. It’s speed is impossible inside of the atmosphere, so it’s most definitely in space.
@allMadeInTiawan@reckoningofpath@BrandonMacnz@NefelibataGod@FELibrary_ You’re wrong or lying. From Apollo alone there are 10 full disk shots of Earth from space. Then there’s DSCOVR that takes several pictures each day. We can setup a SDR and receive images from GOES weather satellites as well.
