Motorists along I-20, I-85 and I-95 will see additional enforcement over the next few days by the SC State Transport Police as part of Operation SafeDRIVE (Distracted Reckless Impaired Visibility Enforcement), a multi-state enforcement effort geared toward reducing commercial motor vehicle collisions and unsafe driving behaviors.

The State Transport Police will work with local law enforcement partners, focusing on all traffic violations with a special emphasis on dangerous and distracted driver behaviors, vehicle compliance checks, and criminal interdiction.
