After a long period away from any development work due to ill health, I am super motivated to get back into all things web development. Itβs been about 5 years since I worked on anything which in web development terms is like an eternity! Yikes!!

@jamie_maguire1 Started 20 years ago but have learned it's not yhe length of time but the rate at which you learn at that makes you better or worse. Someone with 3 years experience could be far more capable that a person with 7 years experience. Or 5 years better than 20. Sharp brains do better.
Day 2 of #100DaysOfCode 27th Aug 2021.
Today I learned about arrow function syntax and the basics of arrays and a couple of methods of filtering the items of the array. I was using the filter method and the map method. See photos of my code and the console results.
#LearnToCode
Day 1 of #100DaysOfCode Wed 25th August.
Using 3 different ways to create objects and view their properties and methods in the console. It's interesting that the draw method in the class one adds the method to its prototype.
@denvercoder Nothing to be embarrassed about, you now know it inside out which will put you into the top percentage of knowledgeable people with react. Thats nothing to be ashamed about in my book.
@cIarissaa @shakedog@Beaterino @Angel_TejadaJr @ChicagoTraderrr He is not saying don't care about others he is reminding people to be wary of fake accounts that are designed to play with your emotions. He is not saying this is fake but just to be careful for your own protection.
@ellie_html For the time you've been doing this I have to say, awesome job.
Some tweaks you might consider are image download optimisation. You want much smaller (in mb) images to download to mobile phones. Also, optimise video. There's lot's of youtube guidance on this.
@DaniPhantom03@DamianoMe@Taieb_Bot Watch lots of youtube tutorials and actually do it as you watch, keep pausing or rewinding the video. It's VERY VERY normal to be confused a LOT when you are starting out. Don't give up, the more you learn, the faster you learn too. The secret is consistency and persistence. π
@florinpop17 Because it largely involves telling a computer what to do and not interacting that much with people. People cause problems where there are none, a computer only complains when there is a genuine problem. Computers are easy going. People can be a nightmare!!
@RandallKanna@BekahHW I agree, you just need to persevere in the beginning and eventually by law of average it WILL happen, but you've got to be tough. Once your foot is in the door there is no stopping you!!
@ellie_html Yes but my daughters nearly an adult (yea right!) and says im such an embarrassment.π€£π when you're 14 it's sooo embarrassing to have a dad you know! ππ
