@TeslaTravelstx@DBurkland@itskyleconner At some point these investors are going to want profit coming back in and not cash being lit on fire. Simple economics here, even if they are Saudi..
@DBurkland@itskyleconner Unfortunately I give it 12-18 months. They won't make it to the finish line to get a vehicle out that will be mass adopted / sold before the cash burn is to much on capital. It's already there now with cash burning in the dumpster 🗑️ 🔥
There life reliability is my biggest question.
Second is software aging and updates, specifically their ADAS end. They haven't pushed their next bigger hands free update yet. There is missing OS level features on r2 (not to say others don't do this, but they had a previous os that did).
So yeah I'm fully rooting them on and excited about this launch, but it truly is there inflection point. They either deliver or they don't.
@DBurkland@SawyerMerritt@Tesla It's hard man they have historically torched and shown a distaste towards prior Tesla reviews. So watching this was lol to me.
Yeah real world pnw range on my brothers 2025 model 3 rwd at 75-80 has been 275-280 tops, which impressed us honestly because this is rain, cold, wind that produces that number.
The best range we have seen is 335 and it was a 55 degree day and minimal wind, and less than efficient Nokian tire (Nokian one).. so yeah the rwd is nothing but amazing in our view coming from 2018 rwd's previously.
We're going to do something similar but larger in August for our anniversary. Planning on doing the Olympic national forest Aberdeen and around to highway 20, taking the ferry across to widbey Island then over highway 20 from Burlington and over to eastern Washington and loop back down south and do it in reverse.
We plan on 4-5 days and camping in car, showers at RV parks, and just getting lost in the world honestly. Gonna be 🔥
@wholemars It also lends a hand in truth behind execution. Meaning they easily filmed this before they show it and any problems easily can be debugged and fluffed from how it releases to public testing and final.
Lol..
He's also a journalist that reviews all vehicles and still likes having fun in ICE vehicles. He has firmly put his opinion that Tesla's in general are best at being the best daily driver and ADAS shipped vehicles on the market that are the benchmark.
The rest just impress within their respective categories and or do something better than Tesla, as example.
Otherwise your comment leaves me..
@wmorrill3@ExitPlan Well that truck has plenty of storage to offer! Haha
I wish all the vehicles supported v2l / v2h dating back to 2018. Obviously you can charge your vehicle to capture it for driving but also being a bank for emergency would be even a larger +
And you know this.. However, it's not that @itskyleconner doesn't get what you're saying but it's a spotlight he is bringing up on the facts to this common issue that still exists and he has plenty of experience from Tesla and Rivian deliveries to know what the other side looks like.
It's just sad that this rat bastard style tactics still exist when it's clear as to what it could turn into as we progress further into the future.
A new Supercharger is coming soon to Elma, Washington!!
Permits were filed last month for an 8-stall V4 PSU station at the Elma Farm Stand on E Young St.
The site is located about half a mile off Washington Route 8 (US-12), and about 25 miles west of Olympia.
