…both have community inauguration celebrations for their districts this weekend: Joel on Saturday 1/7 and Matt on Sunday 1/8. We’re also thankful that @SupStefani kept her seat, and also encourage all D2 residents to attend & get to know their supervisor.

👋🏼 Happy 2023 friends! We hope everyone has been staying dry & safe during the storm. We’re excited to get back into the Twittersphere & share more on the craziness going down in SF.
That said, there is hope! We’re thrilled that @mattdorsey + @JoelEngardio are taking office…
Is anyone else paying attention to the sh*tshow going on at Lake St? They want to put up CONCRETE DIVIDERS to essentially create a new containment zone. When did we start to have publicly funded private streets? Email SFMTA + tell them what you think: https://t.co/Y8V5tsq8pv
TONIGHT @6PM: join a deep dive discussion on the DA recall, where we’ll discuss the pros & cons of:

Redistricting SF is supposed to be a nonpartisan affair.
It’s a clear ethical breach to have a sitting supervisor’s office work on politically motivated gerrymandering that determines the representation of that supervisor.
On our taxpayer dollars, mid afternoon!
@JuliePitta@MHurabiell Entitled is sitting behind a computer and trashing people all day lolz. Do we need to put out a wellness check on you homegirl? Get a new script.
Their talking points don't engage on any facts -- they only amplify divisions along identity and demographic lines. They're claiming that the *map* is pitting people against each other, when in fact it's their own partisan interference doing that.
It's super troubling that staff for @conniechansf are collaborating with @SF_Rising, and that the authors include Jill Shenker, the Campaign Director at "Everyday People" Super PAC. This is partisan interference, undermining the VERY FOUNDATION of our democracy.
I caught @conniechansf's office red handed interfering with the redistricting process. Her legislative aide, @_kelleesi, is collaborating with @SF_Rising to make a talking points memo opposing the new maps. This is supposed to be non-partisan, not driven by political staff!

Maybe you’ve seen the drama on Twitter or even been to a meeting yourself. Or maybe it’s your first time hearing about this altogether.
We’re here to help explain: What the **** is going on with redistricting?
Important to remember when hearing about the Unity Map: this is a small, select sample of residents explicitly engineering a map that empowers progressive sups. How can one map represent 800K citizens? #SFRedistricting
Commenter saying how the deviations in District 10 now promote an equal vote for all races, preserving the Black map in D10 and D5, as well as spreading it into D9 #SFRedistricting
