By the way, the proposal that the City is for ALSO has to build a sea wall, which will also cost a min. of $80M AND will spend at least $100K for a park that will also add a yr to that project completion, making it less environmentally friendly according to report

Residents of SF have never indicated they wanted this. It's been voted on 2X in recent years and both times voted down decisively.

Approx 67% of SF does NOT want this.

Was pushed thru by bike coalition w demonstrably illegitimate SFMTA surveys.

Residents of San Francisco made it clear they want JFK to be a park, not a freeway. The Mayor agreed. The board of supervisors agreed.

Now one person is trying to undo that, spending $200k to put it on the November ballot.
