Aam Aadmi Party vice-president and Former BJP worker and chairperson of The White Medical College have been accused by parents and children of stealing the belongings of MBBS students from the hostel after Swaran Salaria could not bear his defeat from high court and Supreme Court and got penalty of Rs 10 lakh for misleading the court.
Imagine the situation of parents and students, how they have been facing the harassments by college administration, all the way they have come from different district of Punjab. No one had done this kind of dirty behaviour to anyone till date. You can see how the children are seen crying as the college administration destroys all the belongings of the students including their notes, books, laptops, clothes, cash, electronic equipment’s ETC.
I request to the @DGPPunjabPolice and @PathankotPolice to take strict action against culprits and put the culprits behind the bars immediately. @BhagwantMann ji for how long you will keep sheltering Mr Salaria, one day, students and parents will get the justice for sure. @Sukhjinder_INC @RajaBrar_INC I request to my party president, kindly appeal to take strict action on this issue where all parents belong to all over from punjab and from different districts. @RahulGandhi @INCPunjab @LambaAlka

Students of The White Medical College and Hospital resumed their protest at the Directorate of Research and Medical Education (DRME) in Mohali, with 160 students participating.

In response to the ongoing agitation, DRME officials called in 2-3 student representatives.

The officials were presented with a memorandum and had assured the students they would respond by today, but the promise was not fulfilled.

The students then attempted to protest from the MLA hostels to the Chief Minister's house, but the police stopped them near the MLA hostel.

The Punjab President of the NSUI and a Congress spokesperson were also arrested at the MLA hostels.

The students declared they will continue the protest until they are temporarily relocated and their academics are resumed.

Aithe rakh! We will keep continue our fight for MBBS students from The Medical college Bungal badhani until they won’t get justice.
Our Demands And Situation of The College:

- No OPD, No IPD, shortage of teaching faculties, shortage of resident doctors.

- No proper arrangements for food, water and electricity facilities in hostel for students. Mess charges taken are Rs20000/- per month, which are much more then other private medical colleges of Punjab .

- This medical college was derecognised for admission to MBBS course for academic year 2023- 24 by NMC. Again this college is not recognized for academic year 2024- 25

- So there is no logic to keep students of batch 2021- 22 and 2022-23 in this college ,when there is no OPD ,IPD, lack of teaching faculty and resident doctors. No practical training can be provided to students.
- When NMC has derecognised this college for MBBS course,so degree of this college will be virtually paper degree.

- Students after doing MBBS course from this college will not be eligible to apply for job and for doing private practice.
- So it is humbly requested to shift students of academic session 2021- 22 and 2022-23 to other medical colleges of Punjab to save Gheorghe future and academic career. @RajaBrar_INC @Sukhjinder_INC @SukhpalKhaira @PargatSOfficial @sukhwinderkotli @NMC_IND @OfficeofJPNadda @JPNadda @BhagwantMann Open your eyes.
