I used to be deep in prosperity gospel circles. I had this grand plan: become a billionaire, then use my billions to win souls for Christ. 😂

Looking back, I realize I was mostly baptizing my own lust for wealth with spiritual language😂😂😂😂

Biblically speaking, the emphasis is not on pursuing wealth or fame, but on faithfully and diligently carrying out the work God has entrusted to you. As the saying goes, "We are called to be faithful, not successful."

Scripture consistently calls us to diligence, stewardship, and contentment—not to set our hearts on riches. Wealth may come as a providential blessing, but it is never presented as the goal.

Our ambition is to glorify God through faithful labor, leaving the outcome in His sovereign hands. If God grants wealth, receive it with gratitude and steward it well. If He doesn't, our calling remains the same: faithfulness.
