In the news, the tragic incident involving an Air Canada @AirCanada CRJ-900 jet colliding with (ironically) a rescue vehicle while landing on a runway at the LaGuardia Airport.

Two experienced pilots (flight deck crew) were killed by the impact and several others suffered various injuries.

The incident post-collision impact includes an ATC person having to live with this memory for the rest of his life. That won’t be easy. The trauma and ptsd that the cabin crew will suffer will scar them also for a very long time

And what does our embarrassment of a Prime Minister @MarkJCarney have to say about this tragedy?

Well, he’s upset that the CEO of Air Canada does not speak the minority Canadian language, French.

That alone should make every liberal voter reject this idiotic boob. But they won’t because they are programmed, brainwashed, and intransigent fools. Every one. And, the Canadian activist state media (@CBCNews ) is more than happy to run interference for our fool of a PM and their benefactor.

This is Canada folks, and that is why many of us informed non-liberals want out of this liberal woke cesspool of insanity.

Why do the Liberals hold the CEO of Air Canada to a higher standard of bilingualism than their own appointee as Governor General, who hasn't learned French after four years in the role?

TBH, I would rather have the CEO of our flagship carrier focusing his scarce time on safety and reliability than language training.

Having grown up in a family of Air Canada pilots (father, brothers, nephew, niece training now), the horrific crash at LaGuardia airport strikes very close to home. My deepest, heartfelt condolences to the grieving families of the pilots, and to all those injured. May time and loving support help to heal, and to honour those whom we lost.
May we also learn from this tragedy, to make air travel safer for all.

When I think about it, no corporation is more “vital” to my (and most Canadians’) well-being than Air Canada. That’s a vessel & THE airport I’m most at (after YUL). So sad, tragic and seemingly avoidable. 

If you want a sense of how much I feel indebted to Air Canada - not just leisurely to let me travel & visit the world but for the last 15 of 20 years building @WatchMojo into a global success, it served as my de facto “Air Force,” seamlessly reaching & striking American, European, Asian, South American soil with ease and finesse so I could unleash full force once on land. Without AC, and these airborne navigators who could see clearly despite rain, snow or darkness, none of it would’ve been possible.

For the first 5 years, I admit I had to rely on the more cost effective American mercenary pilots to visit Gotham City and the Golden coast over the mountains and prairies. But when finances permit it, my loyalty was clear.

Yes, it’s a monopoly that drives customers nutty sometimes but let’s have some perspective: it’s a vastly complex operation involving a chaotic environment. And their employees are ultimately serving vulnerable clients within a very rigid set of rules of engagement. Non-stop, 24/7, 365 days of the year.

When most travellers are upset about a customer service issue, they complain online…. This was my approach last summer when they cancelled 4/4 out of my return flights from LGA and EWR during our m&a process where I had to be in Big Apple for weeks in a row.

RIP captains! Very sorry for your loss to the Air Canada family.

Mr. President @realDonaldTrump, the IRGC are among the most evil people in the world. I know I am not telling you anything that you don’t already know.

I remind you that they have attempted to assassinate you more than once.

I would strongly encourage you not to negotiate with them as leaving them in power continues their ability to inflict evil on the world. And their word means nothing.

As I write, they are indiscriminately shooting young and old women and girls in the face and in the back just for protesting on the streets.

You have made a public commitment to rescue and help the anti-regime protesters which has motivated tens of thousands of additional protesters to go to the streets, and tragically thousands more have died as a result of their doing so.

You have kept your word with all of your public statements which has returned the U.S. to being a superpower and made you into one of the greatest presidents in our 250-year history. And importantly America’s word now means something again and the world is much safer as a result.

If America walks away from the Iranian people, it will be an even more catastrophic blood bath and a massive missed opportunity for the U.S. and the world.

I am not Iranian and I don’t have any ties to Iran, but I care enormously about humanity.

This is an incredible opportunity to bring an enduring peace to the world and to shut down one of the most evil and powerful regimes with the support of the Iranian and American people and hundreds of millions and perhaps even billions of other people around the world.
