The process of getting “listed” for a lung transplant is not easy. 1) he would need to have a lung disease that is fixable by transplant (we don’t know that) 2) he would require an extensive work up to determine he is a candidate.

According to Elyse RESP score he has a 76% chance of survival from receiving these treatments if our initial diagnosis is correct (again limited info).

@MrPatMineo I mean if he needs a lung transplant it’s not good. Lung transplant has maybe a 5 year survival if lucky. And this comes from a PCCM Intensivist that works at a lung transplant center!
