@tra1ning Although several high-profile golfers have undergone radical swing changes due to back injuries.
As you say, a purely biomechanical approach is one piece of the puzzle - load, physique and predisposition are all key factors. But no evidence swing technique is!
@tra1ning It absolutely does, around 1/3 of golfers have LBP (similar to population levels, see here - https://t.co/cEC1NNospX).
A common belief amongst coaches and golfers is that this is driven by ‘poor’ technique - something we couldn’t identify any good evidence of 1/
