#Courts cannot ensure equal justice for all without people - people passionately working in the roles of judges, administrators, clerks, interpreters & more. If you're looking for a rewarding career helping others, then you should apply for a court job. https://t.co/wSKtxhzNug
Version 1.4.23 introduced a feature that lets you customize the color of particular checkbox or radio list items. It's a pretty useless feature, but it lets you do this.
@LegalGeekster@QSteenhuis@Phila_Legal If the bank account payment method won't work, you can write a check to Philadelphia Legal Assistance, and mention "docassemble" in the memo part (or elsewhere) and mail it to Philadelphia Legal Assistance, 718 Arch Street, Suite 300N, Philadelphia, PA 19106. Thanks!

It was extremely obvious that begging/demanding Silicon Valley executives assert power over our political discourse - determine what's hate speech and what isn't, what's true and false -- would result in Jeff Bezos deciding what we can read. Congrats to all who made this happen:
@mengwong From the start, @docassemble was intended to be usable as a pure Python package for CLI applications, but because the "market" for such applications is so small, this has been the lowest priority.
@keithporcaro@Colarusso@sglassmeyer@C2AJ@kate_fazio Social norms evolve and everyone plays a role in their evolution. It is definitely possible that the people today who undermine the social norm of toleration of dissent will one day be considered heroes -- the "last dissenters" who ushered in a glorious anti-liberal era.
@keithporcaro@Colarusso@sglassmeyer@C2AJ@kate_fazio Businesses might give in to pressure from a boycott or negative publicity campaign organized by people who expect businesses to deny service to unpopular people, so in that sense the businesses might be making a financial decision.
@keithporcaro@Colarusso@sglassmeyer@C2AJ@kate_fazio Hypothetically the government could use regulation to force a business to ban a dissenter, but since the dissenter would win that First Amendment case, it seems weird for the business to do the government's unlawful deed in its place.
