It is illegal to obstruct them from providing care or receiving it.
This law was passed unanimously in the House of Commons, and it comes into force today.

@ASPphysician@NEJM By my reading only 9 of over 1000 vaccinated HCWs had any long haul problems and only 1 missed more than 6 weeks of work. Not too trivialize their suffering but I expected worse numbers
At least one third of the ED patients that I saw last night had a COVID related reason for their visit. Most were infected while working at "essential" manufacturing/construction jobs. There is no economy without healthy workers
The graphic shown here is very encouraging. It shows that - so far - the number of #COVID19 patients in ICU beds in Ontario is much lower than even best-case projections. BUT - we cannot let up on all of the social distancing measures! #StayHome#FlattenTheCurve
