@AlphaLima783447@Boenau Yes its a known fact that cities become more walkable with protected bike lanes too. People love the buffer between walking and general traffic and projects often go hand in hand to improve both, especially at side roads where turns often become much slower and safer for all.
@declanmartin75@MelbOnTransit It’s on a rat run too. It’s tight so anything bigger than a car would have to turn over it. For me you just raise the side road but I appreciate that’s a cost. Also just make it exit or entry only. Even better close it.

A. Stand in the middle and hope for the best
B. Keep crossing and hope for the best
