So on the occasion of World Homeopathy Day, India's apex Homeopathy research body signs an MoU with National Institute of Science to study role of Homeopathy in gall bladder cancer. Here are my thoughts on this clownery that is wasting huge amounts of public funds/ tax money.
This is how the propaganda machine works. First, they piggyback a credible institute - in this case, National Institute of Science. This would create an impression among public that Homeopathy is valuable and that legit research is ongoing in Homeopathy. The MoU is only for this distraction show.
Next, they will take a difficult to manage disease which "modern medicine cannot cure" - in this case, gall bladder cancer, which normally presents very late in its stage and is incurable.
Then they design a study around it with vague science sounding terms - in this case in-vitro and in vivo, which is conducted in lab based cells and tissues and thereafter in small animals - but never humans.
They then take photos like this with National leaders who have not yet completed formal education, in the background. The public feels that the whole fiasco is legit because there are authority figures that are part of it.
The truth is, this study will never be conducted. If it were to be conducted, it would have to be faked to get the results they hope out of it. Because there is absolutely no way, milk sugar, table sugar, distilled water and alcohol, which are what makes Homeopathy, help treat anything, leave alone terrifying gall bladder cancer.
But these MoUs will keep happening. These photoshoots will keep happening. These so-called alternative medicine (SCAM) practitioners will keep doing these drama on social media because their life and existence depends on defrauding public and patients.
What an utter and pathetic waste of everyones time, money and human resources. Ban this garbage Homeopathy and use those funds to at least plant trees. It's the least we can do to help the country.
