@chefsevenn Julia Child's technique (yes, she used canned beans) : Melt some butter in the pan (say 3-4 Tbsp).

Let it cook until it is almost brown. Add the beans (drained) and cook, stirring, until there is a nutty aroma.

@chefsevenn (this is called a "roux") Then add some milk, about 1/2 cup. Stir on high heat until it comes together in a thick sauce. Season with salt and pepper (other spices can be added.)

Heat the beans in a saucepan. Add 1tbsp of butter. When it melts, add a tablespoon of flour. Stir until it comes together and smells cooked (don't let it turn brown, but a little darkening is OK)....

Let me help you guys out. Instead of taco seasoning from a pouch, saute some minced garlic and ginger. Add your beef, saute until cooked, add a splash of sherry or soy sauce. Serve with rice.

I can’t name any without using Google or ChatGPT and I’m absolutely positive that’s what others who answered your question did as well.

However, I do want to point out something white folks did do once that I admired. After the 1999 Columbine shooting, white folks, mainstream media and MTV largely distanced themselves from heavy metal and hard rock artists. Those parent groups put the pressure of their foot on necks and did not let up!

Nobody peeped how MTV dramatically reduced its rotation of hard rock and metal videos, dropped their performances from award shows and figures like Marilyn Manson were practically cancelled because of it. Now whether that reaction was fair or not is a separate debate, but the entertainment industry clearly changed course in response to the backlash they received. And even with some pushback from rock artists—them white folks made their voices heard and never let up until the entire music culture shifted.

I’m saying this to say that even if there are songs—there wasn’t no damned more by the time they were finished!
