@mccabe_corinne Maybe students do not feel the pressures of grades and how others will look at their creativity outside of school. They don't feel the judgements when they are not in class and can be more free to express themselves.

@ryankingcahill @mccabe_corinne I agree Ryan. It's taking tools and using them in ways that the student is motivated and excited about. It's designing new apps or new websites. It's new and improved :)

@mccabe_corinne I would think that the standardized assessments being taken out of the equation would help a lot. You don't have to teach so your kids pass a test, you get to teach and instill passion in students. #FosteringCreativityEdu

@mccabe_corinne A4 #FosteringCreativityEdu I think creativity feeds off of others. The Lin article discussed teachers creatively teaching and feeding off of the students. They get that excitement and energy back from the students when the creative practices are working, it breeds more creativity

@mccabe_corinne A2 #FosteringCreativityEdu I feel like it means so many different things to so many different people. I think creativity is looking at something in a new way. It's not doing the safe thing, it's being bold and brilliant.
