In 2026, the alternative is obvious. You can run a service business from a laptop, sell a skill globally, work for 15 clients instead of 1 boss, and have multiples of the freedom.

The number of people quietly building that exit grows every month. The mainstream conversation hasn't caught up yet, but the trend is one-way.
